Unicorn

Pumpkin the Unicorn came into being a long time ago, back when the universe was full of glitter and rainbows. She is a shapeshifter (as are all unicorns) and has taken the form of many creatures. In 1997 she took the form of a human child in order to learn more about the human race. Her missions 1) work in alliance with other magical creatures to protect the world from evil magic 2) figure out where the dryer stores the stolen socks. She is fairly confident that the dryer works on some sort of evil magic.

Platypus

Fearless the Platypus was born centuries ago (no one but him knows when). Shortly after birth, a wizard named Pyro (yes, Pyro was once good, before joining the Dominators clan) gave Fearless long life and shapeshifting powers. Fearless roamed the earth for thousands of years as different creatures before becoming a human in 1999. He then proceeded to become the president of IPC (the International Platypus Convention) and started this blog.
